|Botanical Garden Information
|The North Tonawanda Botanical Garden is open and free to the public, offering walkways and benches for visitors to enjoy flower beds, views of the canal, and wildlife. The plantings are managed and maintained by the North Tonawanda Botanical Garden Association. The garden includes a butterfly garden with many different types of flowers chosen to attract butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, with plants labeled for public information. The bridge offers a view of the canal and a former pond in process of transformation to a flower bed. The low areas have specialized rain garden beds, where plants that thrive in wet areas are planted.
The gazebo is available to reserve for weddings or other functions through the Parks and Recreation Department. Cost is $20/hr for residents and $40/hr for non-residents. Click here for more information on rentals. The kayak and boat launches are free to the public, and a large parking area provides adequate parking.
For information about the garden, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. To reserve the gazebo, please contact the Parks and Recreation department at 695-8520.
